Kanopy Kids, accessed through the main Kanopy page, features a collection of films and TV series that inspire and inform, helping children develop social emotional skills and reinforcing valuable learning topics, such as history, science, and new languages. Kanopy Kids has a diverse selection of educational and entertaining content that range across Movies, TV Series, Animated Storybooks, Live Action, and Animated favorites. 

Kanopy Kids is appropriate for children ages 2 and up, with a focus on Kids age 2-8. Parents can also choose to implement parental controls to enable them to stay within the dedicated Kanopy Kids area for age-appropriate content. Films can be streamed via charltonlibrary.kanopy.com or by downloading the KANOPY mobile app for iOS, Android, AppleTV, Roku or Chromecast.

How to create an account in Kanopy
• To get started, visit kanopy.com and select the “Add Library Card” button on the lower left
• Enter your library card credentials
• Create an account using your preferred email
• Begin streaming!


Children's Room Hours

 

The Children's Room closes 15 minutes prior to the rest of the building so that staff may pick up and santize our toy area. Thank you for your understanding. 

Schedule:

Monday: 9:30-4:45

Tuesday: 9:30-7:45

Wednesday: 9:30-4:45

Thursday: 9:30-7:45

Friday: 9:30-4:45

Saturday: 9:30-2:45

Parents Please Note:

Children ages 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult. 

Under no circumstances should a child be left unattended in the Children's Room, while the adult is in another part of the building. If your child is attending a program that does not require a caregiver to be present, you must remain in the building at all times should an emergency arise. Please read the Library's Unattended Children policy for more information.
