How do I get a Charlton Public Library card?
Renewal or Replacement Card
If you already have a card but have misplaced it, please stop by the Library to pick up a replacement.

New Physical Card
To get a physical Charlton Library Card:

Visit the Circulation Desk in the Children's Room or on the Adult Level. Adults need a form of photo ID. Children need to be 5 years old and a parent/guardian present.
If you have a card from another CW MARS Library it will work at almost all libraries in Central & Western Massachusetts, including ours! You do not need to apply for another.
eCard
An eCard is a CW MARS library card that you can register for online to access electronic materials, such as ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, and databases. The eCard is for patrons who do not already have a CW MARS library card and may be upgraded to a physical library card with borrowing privileges by visiting the library and providing proof of address.

WHAT'S A BPL eCARD?
A Boston Public Library (BPL) E-card is a virtual library card that grants the holder access to all of the BPL's digital resources.
WHO CAN GET AN eCARD?
Anyone who currently lives in Massachusetts as a full time resident or part-time as a student attending school can get a BPL e-card.
WHY SHOULD YOU GET AN eCARD?
A BPL e-card will grant you access to over 150 digital resources! You'll be able to watch instructional videos on Lynda, stream movies on Hoopla, research dozens of databases, take a practice Massachusetts driving test, and so much more!
