We believe in local art.
Each month in the Community Meeting Room and Front Foyer, we feature works from a local artist or group. Come on by during operating hours to browse the current exhibits.
The Community Room is a shared space and is sometimes occupied by meetings or other activities. If you’re coming from a distance, please check the library calendar or call ahead (508-248-0452) to see if the space is clear.

Interested in displaying your art?
Artists in any two-dimensional medium compatible with the Walker rod system are invited to use the Community Meeting Room and Front Foyer as gallery space. Both individual and group shows are welcome. We encourage artists from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences to apply. We hope you’ll make the walls a vibrant space in the community! Interested artists should review the Exhibit Policy and complete the Art Release form and submit it to the Library Director. Once your proposal is received, the Library Director will contact you to work out dates and details.
The Library Director, Betsy Perry, can be reached at 508-248-0452 or by email at cpldirector@cwmars.org.
The Walker Hanging System
The Library uses the Walker Hanging System. Below are pictures of the hooks and holders available at the Library. Art on wires can be hung on the narrow and wide hangers. Lightweight mediums such as textiles or matted works can be held with the single and double clip attachments.
