Drop in and speak with Charlton Library’s Digital Skill Instructor and get the dedicated support you need. If you will need more than 15 minutes of tech help, please make a one-on-one appointment in person at the Library, online, or by calling 508-248-0452.

Do you have a more complicated question than we can cover during Drop-in Tech Help? Would you like to learn some basic email or internet skills? Make a one-on-one appointment with the Charlton Library’s Digital Skills Instructor and get 60 minutes of dedicated support. Please make a one-on-one appointment in person at the Library, online, or by calling 508-248-0452.
We cannot assist with:
- Setting up a new device
- Fixing/Restoring/Repairing a broken or infected device, app, or email account
- Entering sensitive information for you (e.g. credit card information, social security number, online banking, etc.)
- Keyboarding, typing, or proofreading documents
- Cannot provide medical, legal, and business advice or opinions

Intro to Libby– Local History Room- Registration Required
Saturday, October 25 from 1:30-2:30 pm OR Tuesday, October 28 from 6:00- 7:00 pm
Discover the joy of reading and listening on the go with Libby, the free, easy-to-use app that connects you to your library’s digital collection. This course will guide you through the process of accessing thousands of eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines using Libby, available through your local library. Participants will learn how to download and navigate the Libby app, sign in with a library card, borrow and return items, adjust reading and listening settings, and explore advanced features like tags, holds, and syncing across devices. Whether you’re a first-time user or looking to make the most of Libby’s features, this course will help you enjoy your library anytime, anywhere. 
Intro to Kanopy– Local History Room – Registration Required

Discover a world of free movies, documentaries, and educational videos with this introductory course on Kanopy, the library’s streaming app. Learn how to access Kanopy with your library card, browse and search for films, create watchlists, and stream content on your preferred devices. Perfect for movie lovers and lifelong learners alike, this course will help you make the most of your library’s digital collection right from the comfort of your home. 
Canva for Small Business – Local History Room – registration required
Saturday, November 8, 1:30-2:30 pm OR Tuesday, November 18, 6:30-7:30 pm 
Do you own your own business or are thinking of starting one? This hands-on workshop is perfect for small business owners who want to elevate their brand using Canva. Participants will learn how to create stunning, professional visuals for your business—no design experience needed! We’ll cover the basics of the platform, how to design social media posts, flyers, and other marketing materials, and tips for staying on-brand and saving time. Walk away with the skills and confidence to design like a pro!
