The mission of the Friends of Charlton Public Library is to provide assistance to the Library through fundraising endeavors and volunteer service. The Friends promote and advocate for the Library as a center for lifelong learning, cultural enrichment, and community gathering place.
The Friends meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 3:30 in the Community Meeting Room and we welcome anyone who wishes to join our meetings.

Join the Friends and help us support our Library! The funds we raise (primarily through memberships, book sales, and other fundraisers) help fund Library programs (like Summer Reading, genealogy, and author talks), materials (like the Museum Passes and Book Page) and much more. There is no requirement to volunteer or to participate in meetings, although we always welcome participation!
