Charlton Public Library Summer Reading Bookmark Contest

The theme is: Plant a Seed, Read

For the past few summers we’ve been giving out special bookmarks that we’ve made but now it’s your turn! This contest is open to all ages!

Read below for all the details:

  • All designs must be completed using the template available at the Library or downloaded from the links below.
  • Artwork can include computer generated or digital photographic submissions or paper submissions using colored pencil, pen, paint, markers, etc. Artwork containing AI generated images will not be considered.
  • Digital entries should be submitted with a resolution of 300 dpi or higher for printing purposes. Digital version final bookmark size 2 x 6 inches.
  • All artwork must be original, previously unpublished, and free of copyright restrictions.
  • Both horizontal and vertical designs will be considered.
  • Upon submission, entrants grant the Charlton Public Library all rights to the artwork and consent that all artwork may be displayed and/or reproduced without limitation and without compensation.
  • Entries must be accompanied by a signed entry form.
  • Limit one (1) entry per person. Do not include your name in artwork.
  • Winners will be announced on April 17.
  • Entries must be submitted between March 2 and March 31, 2026. Paper submissions must be brought or mailed to the Charlton Public Library. Digital submissions must be sent to charltonlibrary@cwmars.org
